Polyurethane membrane
Polyurethane vacuum membrane for bagging, veneering, laminating, and bending wood components.

What is a polyurethane membrane?
This transparent polyurethane membrane is used for vacuum bagging, veneering, laminating, and curving wood, especially where broad workpieces or large molds require visual control and reliable pressure distribution. The clear surface makes positioning easier and supports consistent contact across veneers, curved panels, and molded assemblies. Manufactured from durable polyurethane with a hardness of 87 Shore A, the membrane provides 450% elongation and high tear strength of 60 N/mm. The 0.5 mm thickness offers flexible handling for cold vacuum bagging and high-volume pressing applications, with an operating temperature of up to 50 ºC. It is supplied with a smooth finish and widths of 1600 / 3200 mm for large-format production. Using the membrane helps improve process control, reduce material marks, and support repeatable results on wide or complex parts.
